Yesterday after work, I went to the local farmer's market and bought fresh heirloom tomatoes, a green bell pepper, and some crisp cucumbers -- all with the intention of making gazpacho. Tonight, I whipped up a batch to take with me to Boston for the weekend. Couldn't help but taste it, you know, to make sure it was acceptable. Yummmmm! It's been a long time since I've made it, but the tomatoes are wonderful this year. You can find the recipe I use here on an old post.
Oh, I really must try making some with my home grown veggies! Strangely I never have had it or made it, I don't know why. Thanks for the recipe.

Marja-Leena: Yes, try it! Most gazpachos are chunky cold soups, which is good, too, although very different from this version. Wonderful on a warm summer day.
