[Planter*, stoop of my condo; 6/28/10]
Still no luck on renting the condo, much less selling it. I was utterly despairing last night after the woman I showed it to on Monday never called yesterday, as she said she would. I'd thought she'd be a really good tenant for my place. So, it sits empty, five months now paying rent here and mortgage and condo fees there. I've had inquiries, but nothing promising. But it's early. I had a couple of good prospects call in the middle of February, a highly unlikely time to find tenants, while I was fixing it up for sale. Hopefully someone will turn up soon...

Lovely impatiens, they really are so reliable and easy care! I do hope that your condo rents or sells soon and you will be worry free - fingers and toes crossed!!

May good tenants move in as quickly as those flowers did.

Marja-Leena: Yes, it seems to be a good spot for them. I've hardly ever had to water them there, which is good because now I'm too far away.
Peter: Thank you. I hope so.

So sorry. Anything to do with property seems to bring out the worst in people, who will make promises they have no intention of keeping.

Faith. That's something I learned to trust in. Even when the problems mount and all seems utterly hopeless, something turns up. It would be rather nice if we could see it on the horizon though, wouldn't it?
I remember my daughter once telling me, "One day you'll look back and laugh at this", I did but it was rather hysterically

RR: Well, I presume she decided against it then didn't feel comfortable calling me just to say No.
Julie: Thank you! You are right, of course, and I've been through this before. It's just such a bad economic environment that it's scary to sit and wait. (sigh)

Oooh, I'm sorry! We had such a hard time and long wait selling our house, and then suddenly the right people came along. They will for you too, I'm sure, but in the meantime it's really rough! And a roller-coaster of hopes and disappointments and money flowing out. Hang in there, like those hardy impatiens, I guess!
