[My porch, 8am, 1/7/09]
Ice has formed across my tea, my toast sugared unsweetly white, eggs cemented to the plate. Ah, but the strawberries, gleefully flush in the snow!
An inviting and pretty dusting of icing sugar, unlike the three feet of heavy wet stuff we've had! An odd turnabout in our climates.

Nice photo-poem combo.

Ah, a pretty cool breakfast you had...

Marja-Leena: Actually, we had about 3 inches of slush on the ground, with puddles of it several inches deep. Very wet stuff, but at least most roofs here aren't flat.
Dave: Thanks. The photo inspired the nubbin in this case.
Maria: Pretty cool, indeed.

Looks cold. The ice formed like sugar frosting on everything today, here, but as the temps climbed it fell off from everything. The car-I went to de-ice it the old way-looked like it was shedding somehow with sheets of ice sliding down or off it! Now, it's foggy and murky.
I'm also on Facebook now. What an incredibly fun waste of time THAT can be! Now I have something ELSE to look out for.
Now I do a MySpace and I'll be complete.

What a lovely, delicate meal in words and picture.

Bob: Yeah, it was pretty messy up here, too. The photo's deceptive. Watch out that the 'net doesn't suck you up into it now! ;-)
Julie: Heh. Like I would really sit out in the cold! But I know how much you love it.
RR: Thanks!
