It was nearly 70ºF today. People were out in short-sleeves and sandals. I had an hour to kill after work before going to yoga, so I sat out on the porch. I wasn't the only one.
Alas, it won't last. The forecast for the weekend is rain and in the 40s.
I do love all the pearly, bluey whites and elegant woodwork there seem to be in your part of the world, whatever the season.

What Lucy says. And I'm taken with that cat. He fits into the surroundings perfectly ....

Once again, a terrific Ingrid picture. I love your porch with the windows surrounding it.

Lucy: Not sure how elegant it all is! But I like it here, particularly the area I moved to.
MM: He's a crazy cat. Jumps out of the bushes at the dog, follows us around. He is rather handsome, though.
Joanna: Thanks. She spent the rest of the evening posing and trying to get more pictures taken. The porch is wonderful, and will be hard to leave. Especially as the good weather makes it usable again.

Oh, all that lovely light and shadow! I miss a good porch.

Hi MB! Good to see you again. I love the porches in this neighborhood. I'm holding out hope I'll find an apartment with a porch when I move this summer. The one we have here just about sealed the deal when we signed the lease last summer.

70f?! It's spring here too but just cold winds and drizzle. At least your rain's going to be warm! I'm moving in...

Wasn't it fantastic? And now it's all back to normal early April in Eastern Massachusetts.
Good thing I didn't have the car Thursday or I'd have gone over to the garden center and spent too much money on doomed plants instead of walking myself over to the hospital for my MRI. Seriously, except for the truly lovely walk, which sounds more fun to you on possibly the only 70° day for the next two weeks at least?
Love those window shots. :)

Dick: No, it was near-70F on Thursday. This weekend 40F. Cold rain, I'm afraid. But you can still move in if you'd like... ;-)
Sara: Ach. Well, at least you got out for a nice walk. You did get to see that butterfly in your brain, too. :-)
