Winter has arrived. This morning the wind chill is 7ºF, with snow showers predicted. The forecast is for chilly all week. Time to bundle up. The scarf is nearly done. (Will post an update soon.) Now off to work.
send some snow this way.

I was out shoveling and salting the front walks this morning and noticed that it's much colder today than it was yesterday.
I came in and made the coffee, warming my hands on the side of the percolator and wishing I had vacation days.
Keep warm :-).

Keith: Gladly. Send some warmth this way. We'll swap.
Joe: It was very cold today. And this weekend, too, because your comment made me remember that on Friday night when my friend and I walked to the restaurant they put down warm bread plates and I was cradling mine in my hands.

A fine hand warmer it must have made! I remember when I was a child coming in from the snow and wind and burying my hands in towels just out of the dryer. Now I get that pleasure only once a week when I'm at the laundry mat, oh growing up... *sigh*
:-)

I am longing for snow, sigh
And a few bright lights, other than those on passing tractors
And a restaurant or two...
Imagine being able to walk from home to food! Such luxury

Oh, I love these pictures! What a perfect winter look. I'm sure that the snow and cold get old, but living on the west coast where our seasons are all very mild, I am dreaming of snow and a real fall and winter. Enjoy!

Joe: I still enjoy warm laundry!
Mouse: Well, you could move back... :-)
Kat: The cold is tough, especially when it first gets here and you haven't adjusted. My back and shoulder muscles are knotted from it. But there are things to enjoy about it, like bundling up and having a good walk in the refreshing air.
