[Ingrid finds a warm spot; 9:45am, 9/16/07]
---
Finally, a full night's sleep, and then some. Very enjoyable time out last night with a friend I haven't seen since last December, and then only briefly. We picked up like no time had passed at all. Now that I live closer, maybe we can get together more often. We went here and shared some warm olives and roasted garlic with crostini for an appetizer. I had sesame-crusted tuna and wasabi mashed potatoes; he had pan-seared salmon and haricot verts. Both very tasty.
This morning it's sunny and cool. I notice that the light has shifted to the south, the better to warm the porch. The tree across the street is beginning to rust.
...I always think of Ingrid Bergman when I hear the name 'Ingrid', to me the name sounds rather regal, which I think suits Ingrid(the dog)in your second photo(legs crossed and head poised).

Double hurrah for good night's sleep! What a lovely room with all the light, wonderful for lots of plants as well as Ingrid.

Holly: Yes, Ingrid does think that she's queen, it's true. :-)
TG: Yes, most definitely!
Marja-Leena: Yes, lots of light, though we'll see how warm it is come winter. And it gets cooler every night now. Sigh.

Ingrid looks so completely content. Dogs seem to always find a nice warm sunny spot, don't they?

INGRID!!!
xoxoxoxoxo
(Some of that can be for you, too, if it's not too weird and stalkerish. I've been busy offline, but I still love your blog.)

'berta: Absolutely. I've tried it myself - curling up in a warm spot in the sun - fabulous.
Mark: Thanks. And welcome!
Sara: Thank you, and sure, I'll take some o' that, too. I'm busy offline and going through another period of asking myself if I should be offline a whole lot more. Just hate to miss my blog-buds.
