It's been in the high 90's and very humid for a couple of days and even our lovely porch has felt oppressive. The air quality has been poor, but is listed today as "moderate" and "good" tomorrow. It should also be cooler tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. I need to move around. Last night I retreated to my air conditioned bedroom for much of the evening. Even sitting still elsewhere in the apartment produced sweat.
I went for a walk in the woods this morning, at long last. It was still very humid and I felt like I took in as much H2O as O2. But at least it was cooler under the trees, the air filtered by all that tree respiration. Ahhh...
That first one just looks hot and sticky and stifling. The woods look lovely though.

The humidity has already lifted here, as of midday, so you should be much more comfortable in a couple hours.

Lucy: It was pretty hot and sticky, and the woods *were* lovely.
Dave: Yes, better already. Thanks for sending up the drier air.
