[Ingrid nests on my bed; 5:30pm, 7/22/07]
She's not my dog, of course, she's my housemate K's. But tell that to Ingrid. She was rather fond of nesting in my pillows in the old place and seems more so here, where my bedroom is centrally located. In fact, it's one of the ways to get from the back of the house to the front since it has a door on each end.
K, at least, uses the convenient hallway through the dining room to go from her bedroom or the kitchen to the front where the living room and porch are. Ingrid makes no such effort at decorum. All the world is hers, at least the part of it that she can reach.
Not gratuitous at all! Thank you.
The new place is looking very nice, like you've lived there awhile already. Excellent work. :)

I love her triangle ears

Sara: Since we have a third floor to stash stuff on, the main living space gets to look pretty good. Still need more area rugs, etc. But it's livable at this point.
TG: I know, pointy ears. They swivel too!

They take over, and make a place home.

Light, windows, doors, views. Lovely. I'm envisioning Joe Henderson's music rolling through the warm air.

Your affection for Ingrid is pretty transparent too :-) I love the pictures, but particularly the last one where for some reason the window catch reminded me of a kneeling robed woman. The new place looks really wonderful.

Zhoen: Right on both counts.
Heather: Thanks! Not sure settled is quite the word yet :-)
MB: Yes, though right now it's the Red Sox. :-)
RR: Yes, she's a cutie. And we were very lucky to find this place. It is quite lovely here.

She looks smaller than I imagined from previous pictures curled up among the pillows. She's very lovable!

She's such a distinct looking dog! Love the photo of the one on your bed and of her looking out the window. She's used to the camera, eh?

Lucy: She is very cute and a joy, although she's terrible with other dogs - very territorial - and has been known to nip us on rare (albeit predictable) occasion. I guess we all have our sour points. :-)
Joanna: It's somewhat hard to take photos of her because she's black, and she won't generally hold still for photos, either! My dogs were used to posing, poor dears - they'd get this long-suffering look on their faces sometimes...
