A sundown of blue notesclouds like mottled spots on a feral dog.No pink lick of horizon tonight, folks --just a tattered madder edgefar below one bright defiant star.

I saw that sky too...it was something! I think that was Venus, not a star...

Lovely poem, and flower! Special moments in your day, Leslee!

You do have a way with words. I don't know too many people who can write poems as infrequently as you apparently do with such good results.

Thanks, Tim. So it is. In astrology, you know, they're all stars. :-)
Thanks, Marja-Leena. There are lots of special moments, but rarely time to capture them.
Thanks, Dave. I appreciate your encouragement, as always.

Reading this poem, I realize just how much I love the sky. Gorgeous photo, too.
