[Ingrid standing guard over her prey]
A bit scary, isn't it? Ingrid with her new toy, and I must say a much more fun toy than the Infernal Rope Toy. She can't get a firm enough mouth grip on the quack-infused stuffed duck so you can actually take it from her and have her retrieve it. Plus making it quack is rather entertaining for all concerned. The Infernal Rope Toy, on the other hand, can ne'er be loosed from the Jaws of Ingrid, lo tho she mayest e'r thrust its stinking braid at your personage and thustly wrest your arm clear of its socket.
Actually, K told me she came home today and found a dead vole in the living room. Which is kinda sad. I'm glad I didn't see it. I wonder if it was the promiscuous or monogamous kind.
I think it was the dead kind... :-(

Oh god, dogs who keep shoving their toy or stick at you, but won't let go are like little kids who don't get that the joke you laughed at is less funny the 15th time, aren't they?
Ingrid looks like such a sweetie - pretty, solid, sparky.
The vole research is mind-boggling. Funny how the thought of how this might be used is much more horrifying than that of even the most philandering partner...

The title of this entry sounds like a children's book. I'm not sure if the actual subject would interest or frighten most kids though :-).

Lorianne: Okay, you got me on that one. :-)
Jean: That's the perfect metaphor for the incessant "pull this rope." She never tires of it. And she is all those things.
Joe: I dunno. Read a fairy tale sometime - talk about scary.

There's a very strong likihood that it was a meadow vole, hence promiscuous.

Yah, I figured that. It's a long way to any prairie from here.
