Things could get a bit weird around here. I have a couple of Uranean transits on their way, and I can feel it already. Uranus, the off-kilter planet, the lord of tumultuous upheavals (this was in the google blurb, missing from the site itself), the planet of rebellion, the ruler of electricity and excitement. I was born with Uranus conjunct my Ascendant and Moon, so my nervous system fires up whenever it's around or activated. Curl that skeptical eyebrow up if you will, but I know this, because it zaps me awake in the night, and during the day I get wired up sans potable stimulants. Sounds fun, and it is, but it's also exhausting. On the other hand, I've had a fair share of downtime and I'm settling in more comfortably in the new job and all. Maybe it's getting time to shake things up a little.
I hope that it will be a good kind of excitement, Leslee - you deserve it! Glad the job has been working out. Say, are you an Aquarius? I really need to learn more about this astrology house, ascendants etc.!

Thanks, Marja-Leena. No, not Aquarius. A Virgo. Leo Moon/Ascendant. The Virgo part of me is not so thrilled by all that unpredictable stuff. :-)

Hmmm, sounds like you're in for a wild ride. Martinis, anyone? :-)

Martinis - exactly.
The transit will last all year, so presumably I'll have plenty of time to adjust to the new frequency!

Wow. The things I might understand about myself if I knew the time of my birth! I wish you well with the extra energies!

Does this mean we all have Uranus affecting us or is it specific to each sign?
If the former, maybe I should lay off the caffeine. :-)

Susan: It's specific to my birth chart.
MB: You can find out a lot from just knowing the day. Or see if you can find the time - some hospitals keep records, if it's not on your birth certificate. It can be interesting!

Buckle up! Still...as a fellow Virgo, I can see how you might feel leery.

Well, I have to say I am the ultimate sceptic about such things. I have absolutely no beliefs. I am an existentialist through and through. BUT, I have to admit that I am an existentialist Gemini through and through so...

Thanks, Kurt. We do like to keep things neatly in their place, don't we? (Although this doesn't explain the catastrophe of my office, nor of my garage.)
Charlie: Well, nobody ever accused a Gemini of being of two minds at once. Ha! ;-)

I once met a guy who seemed very knowledgeable about the significance of birth dates and times. When I told him my birthdate, he then proceeded to tell me a couple of things that seemed quite true, even though I'd just met him. I couldn't tell him my birth time then, but I've dug it up just now. I'm curious to know what you'd be able to tell me, should you be so inclined. :-) And we can take this off-blog if you like.
