[View from the roof deck of our B&B in San Miguel de Allende, Col. San Antonio]
We had a suite at the Jardin de Don Quijote B&B, with a kitchenette and two bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one, on the top floor, with a full-size bed. Since I arrived days ahead of Maddy and Terri, who shared the suite with me, of course I snagged the full-size. This bedroom was reached via a spiral staircase from the kitchenette (the main floor itself was perched high up a set of wrought-iron steps), and off the bedroom was a large roof deck. The views from the roof deck were spectacular. And since I was pretty wiped out with my cold the first several days, I spent a lot of time back at the B&B admiring the view.

The B&B also had lovely gardens enclosed within its walls...
Oh, wow, what a lovely place you stayed in, with the view and the gardens! It looks like the right setting to first recover, then restore and rejuvenate yourself. ( Sorry, I sound like the ad for a spa!)

Thanks for the Don Quijote picture. I took the liberty of linking to the picture on my blog

Thanks, Marja-Leena - it was quite lovely there, although I'm not sure how much of those three Rs I got!
Bhupinder: No problem - glad you liked the photo.
