I've been rather preoccupied lately with the twists and turns in my personal life and even if I could share them here I wouldn't know what to say. Life sure gets interesting!
A week or so ago, I got a couple of nice comments posted to my other blog, The Sensitive Traveler, which I've neglected since mid-summer. The commenters (a couple of highly sensitive guys, New Age or otherwise) thanked me for inspiring and informing them, which is very encouraging. I haven't had time to travel, but I did order a couple of books that I thought would be helpful for sensitive travelers - or any travelers looking to reduce stress. One of them, Travel Yoga, I just reviewed in a new post on my other blog. I'll get to the other book when it arrives.
Life's a journey. The "Keys to Happy Travel" apply - patience, being friendly and kind to fellow travelers, finding pleasure in your experiences, practicing stretching and relaxation, and taking things one step at a time. "The rewards of the journey far outweigh the risk of leaving the harbor."
Leslee, I have read your review of the Travel Yoga book with much interest on TST. And the "keys" you quote here could indeed apply to the journeys we make every day as we travel through life. It's certainly my experience at the moment.
And a "curvy road" sounds rather interesting ..

As a lover of all things curvy...
Heh. That's very funny. I imagine you recognize that the tone is a choice, as opposed to natural reaction to events.
And Mary, yes, those keys do apply. "interesting"... surprising, dumbfounding,...
