One day while he was teaching he looked out the window and saw a forsythia beginning to blossom. He stopped his lecture, picked up his gloves, hat, and walking stick, and said, "Gentlemen, I shall not be able to finish that sentence. I have just discovered that I have an appointment with April." Every university in the English-speaking world offered him his choice of posts, but he refused them all. He spent the last years of his life in Italy.

I came across your website while looking up photos for my second grade daughter's school project on a place she'd like to go this summer. You see, we moved here to Raleigh, NC about a year ago from New Hampshire and she misses "home". So, she did her project about New England. The photos you have taken are absolutely breath-taking! I will be checking the site frequently for my "New England Fix". Don't get me wrong, North Carolina is beautiful, but nothing compares to New England in my eyes!
Sincerely,
April Lee

Thanks, April Lee. I'm glad you and your daughter liked them. I'm still posting a lot of Mexico photos from my recent trip, but it's so beautiful around here right now I'm sure I'll be posting plenty more spring New England photos. At least you got spring earlier than we did!
